Starting on Monday, 12 October 2026, a new queue view for customers without an appointment will be piloted at Fimlab Assi, Fimlab Akaa and Fimlab Närpes.

When you take a queue number for blood sampling, the information display will show how many other customers without an appointment are currently waiting in line.

The aim is to make your visit easier. When you can see the length of the queue, it is easier to estimate how long the waiting time may be. If the service location is busy, the information can help you decide whether to wait for your turn or return for blood sampling later when it is less crowded.

During the pilot, we will gather experiences of the new practice and assess whether any changes or improvements are still needed. The new queue view will be introduced at all Fimlab service locations in November 2026.
