The Ahvenisto Hospital outpatient laboratory Fimlab Assi will open its doors to customers on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, at 8:00.

Fimlab Assi is a modern sample collection service location offering comprehensive laboratory services and facilities designed to ensure smooth customer flow. The laboratory is located in the E building of Assi Hospital on the 2nd floor (Sairaalankatu 1–3).

Several improvements aimed at enhancing customer service have been planned for Fimlab Assi. For example, Nopsa fast blood sample collection, which does not require an appointment or a queue number, has its own clearly designated queuing area.

Service at Fimlab Assi is also made faster by an Automatic collection and return of sample containers, intended for customers who collect or return sample containers for certain urine and stool samples.

The outpatient laboratory at Hämeenlinna Central Hospital (Fimlab Hämeenlinna Central Hospital) will be open for the last day on 6 March 2026. During the relocation on 9–10 March, only emergency patients will be served at the old premises. Non‑urgent visits will be directed on 9–10 March to other Fimlab service locations that are open.

From 11 March onwards, Fimlab Assi will be open on Mondays–Fridays from 8:00 to 14:30 (Nopsa from 8:00 to 11:30). Up‑to‑date opening hours can be checked at Service locations and opening hours – Fimlab.
