Change in the Selection of Sample Containers for Automatic Collection and Return of Sample Containers

The selection of sample containers in Fimlab’s automatic collection and return machines will change on 18 December 2025.

From that date, you can collect and return a stool calprotectin sample container using the machine. The chlamydia and gonorrhea sample container will be removed from the machine’s selection and can no longer be returned via the machine.

Selection of sample containers from 18 December onwards:

A) Albumin and creatinine ratio – U-AlbKre

B) Basic urine tests – U-KemSeul, U-Solut, U-BaktVi

C) Stool calprotectin – F-Calpro

These machines serve customers who collect a container for a home sample or return a sample taken at home.

To use the automatic collection and return machine, the customer must have a valid referral and know which sample container to collect. This information is provided by the healthcare unit issuing the referral.
