On Tuesday 17 February 2026, the Oma Häme Wellbeing Services County experienced a major data centre disruption that affected the county’s services. The disruption also impacted laboratory operations, particularly at Kanta-Häme Central Hospital.

Due to the disruption, hospital care units were only able to issue referrals for laboratory tests in urgent situations.

Patients who had booked an appointment at the laboratory were able to be served as normal during the disruption.
