Note: Ordering the summary to your own email is temporarily unavailable. You can show the summary at the laboratory in paper form or, for example, as a screenshot on a smart device.
Take the summary with you to the sampling, either in electronic or paper format. Fimlab has no access to OmaLabra summaries. You can send the OmaLabra summary to your email, print it out or show it on your mobile device. Our nurse will take samples from you according to the summary and record the tests in the laboratory system. You will also receive a printout showing the tests taken and their prices.
OmaLabra tests are subject to a charge. You can see the test-specific prices when creating an OmaLabra summary. As you add tests to the summary, you can see the service and sample collection fees included in the total price of the service. The total price printed on the summary includes only one visit by default. The summary that you have created does not commit you to anything.

We recommend booking an appointment for OmaLabra testing. Gynaecological sample collection always requires an appointment. Check the details of our service locations and their opening hours: Service locations and opening hours. Please note that gynaecological samples are only taken in some of our locations and that OmaLabra customers cannot use the Nopsa quick blood sampling service.
Gynaecological smear (Pap smear) and HPV tests involve special sampling and always require an appointment. No other tests can be taken by appointment for gynaecological sampling. If you want other tests (such as a blood test) to be taken at the same visit, a separate appointment must be made.
You can view your results on MyKanta, where they will be transferred once the examination results are complete. The results are produced at different times and may not all appear at the same time. With your permission, the results can also be viewed by the treatment units using Kanta services. You can also view some of your results in the Fimlab mobile app.
Use the OmaLabra test descriptions to interpret the results. Health care professionals are responsible for interpreting abnormal results and assessing their significance. Your physician or nurse will help you with the interpretation. Fimlab does not provide guidance or medical care based on the examination results.
An invoice will be sent to you by post once the examination results are available. If both a gynaecological sample and other tests are taken at the same visit, the sample collection fees will be charged separately.

We measure the customer experience after sampling visits using the Net Promoter Score (NPS). The NPS score can range from -100 to +100. The higher the score, the greater the proportion of our customers who recommend our services. The value is based on approximately 2600 evaluations from March 2025.
