  • The Dexcom G6 glucose monitoring system (CGM) alerts the user when their blood glucose is going to drop or rise.
  • The device consists of a Dexcom G6 sensor and a separate transmitter. The sensor works for 10 consecutive days and the transmitter for 3 months.
  • You can use the Dexcom G6 sensor with the Dexcom G6 mobile application or a separate Dexcom G6 receiver.
  • You can send your self-monitoring data to the healthcare unit via the Dexcom Clarity cloud service or the Glooko cloud service, depending on which cloud service your healthcare unit is using.
