The system consists of the Simplera™ sensor and the InPen™ system, which work together to manage insulin therapy.

The system:

• Records all rapid-acting insulin doses and their timing, and displays the amount of active insulin in the body in real time.
• Sends a notification when a correction dose is needed and reminds you of a missed meal dose.
• Calculates dose recommendations by considering the current glucose level and the active insulin remaining from previous doses.
• Shows the amount of carbohydrates needed to correct a low glucose level.
• The Simplera sensor has an operating time of 7 days. The reusable InPen insulin pen’s battery lasts for one year.
• The system is operated using the Simplera and InPen mobile applications.
• You can share your data with your healthcare provider via the Carelink cloud service.
